Joint project with JCC and Japan Chemical Industry Association (JCIA)

From July 30th -31st, the Chemical Division (chair: Mr. YOSHIKAWA Tomotaka, AGC Vinthai PCL.), the Environment Committee (chair: Mr. TAKABE Hirohito, Mitsui Chemicals (Thailand) Co., Ltd.), and the Garment & Textile Division (chair:  Mr. YAMADA Hiroshi, Toray Industries (Thailand) Co., Ltd.) held lectures and workshop collaboration with the Japan Chemical Industry Association (JCIA)


On the first day, it was the lecture that was held for Japanese management. Mr. ISHII Hiroshi, Managing Director of the Japan Chemical Industry, gave lecture on "Japan Chemical Industry Trends, Administrative Trends” together with Mr. MORIMOTO Tsutomu, Director of JCIA and Mr. HASEGAWA Takayuki, Director of the Japan Chemical Product Management Department. On that day, there were 90 persons participated and there also was the networking dinner after the lecture.


On the following day, there was the workshop that was held for Thai employees working at Japanese Chemical companies in Thailand under the theme “Security and Disaster Prevention”. In the event, there were 82 persons attended lecture and group discussion on the latest trends in chemical regulation and introduction of excellent cases of Japanese safety activities in Thai.
