The Preliminary Japanese School Committee visit Japanese Language Supplementary School at Phuket

On November 1st, the Preliminary Japanese Supplementary School Committee (chair: Mr. NISHIZAWA Atsuhiko, Thai Kurabo Co., Ltd.) visited the Phuket Japanese Supplementary School.


The Committee provides support to Japanese supplementary schools that serve Japanese children and others living in areas without full-scale Japanese schools, such as Phuket and Chiang Mai. During the visit, the Principal of the Phuket Japanese Supplementary School, provided an overview of the school’s student enrollment, teaching methods, operational structure, and financial status. Committee members also observed classes currently in session.


In addition, the school was considering expanding its operations by transitioning into a Non-Profit Organization (NPO) in order to strengthen its management and organizational structure. The school requested continued support from the JCC as it moves forward with this initiative.
