JCC Executive Directors Report Economic Survey Results to Thai Government Officials

From August 13 to 19, the JCC Executive Directors led by President KONDO Hiroyasu from Marubeni Thailand Co., Ltd. together with Mr. ABE Ichiro, Chairman of the Economic Research Group from JETRO Bangkok, visited several Thai government and business organizations to report the results of the Business Survey of Japanese Companies for the First Half of 2026.


The delegation met with Mr. Narit Therdsteerasukdi, Secretary General of the Board of Investment (BOI); Dr. Chula Sukmanop, Secretary General of the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) Office; Mr. Kalin Sarasin, President of the Thai-Japanese Association (TJA); and Mr. Seksan Ngaosuwan, Assistant Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports.


During the meetings, the delegation shared the survey findings and exchanged views on the current business environment as well as the challenges and issues facing Japanese companies operating in Thailand
