Report Economic Survey Results to Thai Government Officials

From August 20 to 21, the JCC Executive Directors led by President KONDO Hiroyasu from Marubeni Thailand Co., Ltd. together with Mr. ABE Ichiro, Chairman of the Economic Research Group from the JETRO Bangkok Office, visited Thai government and business organizations to report the results of the Business Conditions Survey of Japanese Companies for the First Half of 2026.


The delegation met with Mr. Atipon Hirunluangchok, Director of the National Economic and Social Development Council (NESDC); Mrs. Pimjai Leeissaranukul, Chairman of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI); Mr. Poj Aramwatthananont, Chairman of the Thai Chamber of Commerce (TCC); and other officials.


During the meetings, the delegation shared the survey findings and exchanged views on the current economic and business environment as well as the challenges and issues facing Japanese companies operating in Thailand.
