Information & Communications Technology (ICT) Division Conducts KOSEN-KMITL Site Visit

On September 7, the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Subcommittee (Chair: KOBAYASHI Yoshihito, NTT (Thailand) Limited) held a site visit to KOSEN-KMITL (Thailand National College of Technology).

KOSEN-KMITL was established in 2019 at King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL) as a national project jointly undertaken by the Japanese and Thai governments. As Thailand’s first five-year integrated National College of Technology, KOSEN-KMITL has fully adopted the Japanese National College of Technology education system and is working to develop highly skilled, practical engineers to support “Thailand 4.0.”

During the visit, participants received an explanation of the current state of human resource development and the school’s educational policies. They also toured the educational facilities and practical training sites. Through a question-and-answer session and an exchange of views, participants deepened their understanding of the current state of engineer development at KOSEN-KMITL.
