UAC GLOBAL PUBLIC COMPANY LIMITED

From chemical trading to clean energy, circular economy and sustainable innovation

UAC Global Public Company Limited, or UAC, is a company listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand. The company has developed from an import and distribution business for chemicals, systems and innovative equipment used in energy, petroleum, petrochemical, polymer, plastics, heavy industry, power plant and utility sectors into a diversified business group with core activities in trading, renewable and alternative energy, petroleum, and circular-economy projects. UAC aims to support sustainable growth through clean energy, efficient resource use, environmental responsibility and value creation for business partners, communities and shareholders.

Main Business Activities

1.      Trading business: import and distribution of chemicals, equipment and innovative systems for energy, petroleum, industrial, petrochemical, lubricant, polymer, plastics, chemical, heavy industry, power plant and utility customers. In 2025, trading remained the largest revenue contributor, although demand and pricing competition affected sales volume.

2.      Renewable and alternative energy: investment and operation of power generation and clean energy projects, including biogas, biomass, solar rooftop, fuel gas, waste-to-energy and RDF-related utility businesses.

3.      Petroleum and associated gas value creation: petroleum interests in Sukhothai and processing of associated gas into useful products such as C1 fuel gas, LPG and natural gasoline.

Partner Recruitment Background

For the Thai - Japan Relations and Innovation Initiative, UAC is seeking partners that can help accelerate practical innovation, technology transfer and commercial collaboration between Thailand and Japan. Priority areas include clean energy, circular economy, green chemicals, advanced materials, industrial decarbonisation, and community-scale sustainability projects.

1) Technology and commercial partners for soil improvement substrate, biochar, agricultural residue utilisation and high-value products from energy crops and biomass waste
2) Technical partners for petroleum field optimisation, carbon capture, utilisation and storage, and emissions reduction
3) Investment and engineering partners for biogas, biomass, waste-to-energy and RDF projects in Thailand and ASEAN
4) Partners for renewable energy integration and low-carbon value chains
5) Partners for green chemicals, advanced materials, and innovation commercialisation

Available Assets

1) Biomass, agricultural residue and soil-conditioner opportunities
UAC has operating experience in biogas power generation using energy crops and agricultural residues, including the Mae Taeng project in Chiang Mai and Phu Pha Man project in Khon Kaen.
Potential collaboration areas include soil improvement substrate, biochar, value-added biomass products, crop-residue utilisation and technologies that improve farmer income while reducing open burning and air pollution.
UAC is interested in technologies that can be piloted at community or plant scale and later expanded commercially.

2) Petroleum, associated gas and decarbonisation opportunities
UAC Utilities holds petroleum concession interests in L10/43 and L11/43 in Sukhothai Province, with crude oil and associated gas production.
UAC also operates a petroleum production plant that processes associated gas into C1 fuel gas, LPG and natural gasoline, creating value from resources that would otherwise be underutilised.
Potential collaboration areas include petroleum-field optimisation, emissions reduction, methane management and low-carbon operation standards.

3) Renewable energy, biogas and waste-to-energy opportunities
UAC operates and invests in renewable and alternative energy projects, including biogas, fuel gas, solar rooftop, community power and RDF-related projects.
Potential collaboration areas include engineering, feedstock management, waste sorting, RDF upgrading, emissions control, project financing and ASEAN expansion.

4) Green energy, green chemicals, and low-carbon value-chain opportunities
UAC is interested in practical partnerships that connect renewable energy (e.g., biogas), associated gas utilisation, industrial customers and future low-carbon products.
Potential collaboration areas include green chemicals manufacturing or trading, renewable power integration, industrial heat decarbonisation, carbon accounting and pilot projects with clear commercial pathways.
UAC prefers partners that can combine technology strength with a realistic business model for Thailand and ASEAN.
